Portland knife attack: "Taylor Swift told me to kill him"
She had not asked anyone...
In spite of
herself, Taylor Swift finds herself mixed up in a sordid new crime. According
to the local American TV station KATU, a 43-year-old unbalanced was arrested
Sunday, December 10, 2017 after stabbing a man with scissors in the streets of
Portland, Oregon.
Quickly apprehended
by the authorities, Brent Shannon Thicksten justified her act in a strange way,
assuring that the 28-year-old singer had pushed him to commit this crime.
"She told me to kill him," he told the police. When the officers
questioned him more, asking where Taylor Swift was, they were not at the end of
their surprises. "We are only one," he replied coldly. After that,
Brent Shannon Thicksten refused to answer the other questions put to him,
assuring that it was a "top secret" mission.
Embarked at the
station, the culprit should soon be tried for "second degree
aggression" and "illegal use of a weapon". Injured in the back,
the man victim of his attack comes out with a slight cut. His days were not
counted.
This is not the
first time Brent Shannon Thicksten has been arrested. In 2014, he stole two
forklifts and rushed them into the streets, causing panic. However, he should
not be released soon, his bail being set at $ 277,000.
